Membership:
The V.A.S. membership is $15.00 per month and is based on a one year membership that can be paid in two six month installments if needed. Before committing to a membership we encourage you to drop in at two events on our calendar. A drop in fee of $5.00 per event will be charged. If, after attending two events, you then decide to become a member, the $10.00 will be credited towards your membership fee.
Memberships must be renewed before the expiration date or there will be a $10.00 administration fee applied. The fees must be paid before another calendar is distributed to the member or before a member attends further events with the group. All membership dues are non refundable.
If an ex-spouse or ex-common law partner (or person with who a member has had a long term relationship with) of an active member inquires about becoming a member of the club, the active member must give his or her approval.
If the member declines, the ex-spouse or ex-common law partner (or ex long term relationship partner) may not attend any future meetings or events of V.A.S.
A prospective member may attend one information evening and two events before joining. When the person decides to join, they must complete an application form and attach payment to the membership form.
A new membership form shall be completed by members who are renewing their membership.
All events planned and attended are expected to be paid for by each member individually. If any person chooses to buy a drink for another person, it is their choice. Members or attendees are under no obligation to buy a drink or dinner for anyone other than themselves.
The intention of V.A.S. is not to be a match making or dating service although some people have or may connect through the group by their own choice.
Members and prospective members shall be of good moral character and must display appropriate behavior to all other members or guests.
The V.A.S. Club Director may disqualify, censure, suspend, or terminate the membership of any member for just cause.
Actions that may lead to the disqualification, censorship, suspension or termination of membership shall include but are not limited to:
1. Conduct in a manner prejudicial to the good name or best interests of the V.A.S. Club:
2. Exhibited traits of character or conduct that causes other V.A.S. members to feel uncomfortable around the person in question:
3. Any questionable conduct. Click Here for a Membership form to Print and Fill Out
