Question 5 - Why is this group here in the first place?

Many of us have tried to meet people through other means and found that we don't particularly like the bar scene anymore or the internet as a way of meeting people.  We met others who feel the same way.  Some of our members still remain active on internet sites as well. It is each persons choice what they do.

A few of us decided to see if there was interest in a social group in the Fraser Valley so we started out by advertising in the local paper.  The attendance was overwhelming from the very beginning.  Our group just keeps on growing and we're having a great time too.
